Manchester City's Nigel de Jong says his team won't crack under pressure

The Dutch enforcer believes his side are in a good position to claim the Premier League title and denies they are feeling the heat being supplied by Manchester United.

Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong believes they can keep their cool and claim the Premier League title despite being under constant pressure from Manchester United.

The Red Devils have honed in on City recently and now sit just two points behind them.
De Jong told The Sunday Mirror: “We are honestly not thinking about United. We aren’t feeling any pressure from them because the only pressure we feel is what we put on ourselves.
“We expect this fight to go on until the last games of the season. United have won the Premier League before, but I don’t think that gives them an advantage.

FA CUP
“Last season City showed they are winners in the FA Cup. There are winners everywhere at the club.
“Yaya Toure has won the biggest trophies with Barcelona and Roberto Mancini has won many titles as a player and a coach in Italy.”
Meanwhile, City face another fine regarding fan behaviour after supporters set off fireworks before their win over Porto on Thursday.
However, Uefa seems unwilling to investigate the allegations that Mario Balotelli was racially abused in Portugal.
